REexpert is an interactive website that connects real estate professionals with potential homebuyers.  The REexpert website is owned by REexpert, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company, but for purposes of this Privacy Policy the words "REexpert," "us" or "we" shall refer to the company, its corporate affiliates and all features, content and applications available on the website.  This Privacy Policy is intended to provide you with information on the information we collect from you and the way that we use the personal information you share with us.

Collection and Usage of Personal Information.  When you use REexpert, you may be required to submit personal information to us, including, but not limited to, your name, phone number and email address.  By giving this information with us, you authorize us to share it with our REexpert Agents and give the REexpert Agents permission to contact you directly regardless of whether your phone number is on a Do Not Call list.

We may collect your browser type and IP address when you use REexpert.  We may also store certain information from your browser using "cookies," which stores information about you on your computer.  If you are a real estate professional who is selected as a REexpert (individually, a "REexpert Agent" and collectively, "REexpert Agents"), one of these cookies may store your login information so that you may easily login to REexpert each time you use it.  This cookie may be removed or blocked through your browser settings.
In addition to the above information, we may also collect information about your usage of REexpert.  Such information might include the times and frequency of your REexpert usage, the specific information you look at, who you communicate with, and the data you transfer.  It may also include the third party links or other information you choose to click on while using REexpert.  This information may be associated with your account if you are logged in at the time it is collected.

The information collected by REexpert may be used to, among other things, improve REexpert, develop marketing campaigns, and provide you with personalized information when you use REexpert.  It may also be used for

Ways in Which We Do Not Use Personal Information.  We will never sell your personal information unless you have given us permission. 
Activities Requiring an Account.  You do not need a REexpert account to access the site.  REexpert Agents will be given a user account (a "User Account") and must use that User Account in order to access certain features on REexpert (including, but not limited to posting property profiles and tracking leads).  In order to be given such an account, you must be a REexpert Agent and to be chosen as such, you must provide us with some personal information including your name, email address, phone number and the market area you serve.  You also may be required to attend an interview via telephone or in person and will need to provide us with additional information at that point.  Submitting such personal information to us and attending the interview does not guarantee that you will be selected as a REexpert Agent.

Communication from REexpert.  We will never send you commercial or marketing emails unless you have first consented to receive such messages or unless we have provided you with the option to stop receiving such messages.  We might, however, send you messages for non-marketing or administrative purposes like informing you of changes to the website or providing you with customer service.  In emails that we do send, we may use technology that tracks which emails are opened by which recipients.

Changes to Personal Information.  You are never required to submit personal information to REexpert, but if you choose not to do so, you may not be able to take advantage of certain REexpert features.  Once you have provided information to REexpert, you may update such information at any time or change your email preferences by emailing info@thereadvocate.com. You should be aware, however, that we may keep a backup copy of the previous information for a reasonable period of time.  In addition, the information may remain available on archived webpages or may have already been copied by third parties.  You may delete cookies that are placed on your computer and delete your browsing history through your browser settings.

Third Party Links.  REexpert contains links to websites maintained by third parties.  While REexpert will not provide these third parties with any information that would allow them to personally identify you unless you have consented or have the ability to opt-out, as a result of technology that is used, the third parties will automatically receive your IP address if you visit their websites.  The third parties may also use their own cookies or other technology to monitor your internet usage.  REexpert does not control the privacy policies of these third parties and you should contact them directly for more information. 

Legal Disclosures of Personal Information.  We reserve the right to disclose your personally identifiable information as required by law and when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served on REexpert.

Change in Ownership.  In the event REexpert goes through a business transition, such as a merger, acquisition by another company, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, your personally identifiable information will likely be among the assets transferred.  You will be notified via either email or a notice on our website of any such change in ownership or control of your personal information.

Changes to Privacy Policy.  This Privacy Policy may be amended at any time.  Any such changes will be posted to this webpage.  You are therefore encouraged to regularly check the Privacy Policy to see if it has been amended.
